December Faves

It's that time again! Here are some of my most used products for the month of December ...

- The Greatest Scrub of All by Soap & Glory: I was gifted this by one of my good friends Spencer. He got me as his secret santa draw and he gave me a themed present. I was so excited to try this facial scrub out. It has a minty feel and you can automatically feel that your face is clean (9/10)
- Some kinda gorgeous in medium by Benefit: I am currently using this as my under eye concealer and it is working miracles. I never have to touch up and I kid you not, it goes on as liquid but finishes as a powder. I am in love! (10/10)
- Full Exposure Mascara by Smashbox: Doesn't clump and No touch up needed! I have added this on to my mascara layering process. It's currently step 2 (right after a coat of define-a-lash by mabelline) (9/10)
- CoverAll Foundation by Wet n' Wild: I take it in a medium and this foundation is easily build-able and quick to blend. It has medium coverage and has a matte finish! For $4.99 it does the trick (8/10)
- Lip stick by Boxum in Amsterdam: I have been looking for a "better than my lip" colour for the longest time and my lips have a pink/mauve undertone so regular nude lipsticks either look dull or unflattering on me. I found this great colour by Buxom and for a plus, it has a minty feel and semi-plumps your lips! (10/10)
- Brow and eye liner by Wet n' Wild in Taupe: This has been a staple since my friend Mal introduced me to this. I used to use a powder and wax duo for my brows from E.L.F but shipping costs are so expensive. This has been a life saver specially because I haven't gotten my brows done for 3 weeks. It has a wax feel but natural finish and retails for less than $2 (10/10)
- Vanilla Bean Noel 3-wick Candle: I cannot stop burning this candle! It smells like warm vanilla cake out of the oven! (10/10)
- iPad mini in White: I gifted myself an iPad mini when I went to New Jersey in November. It has been such a great tool. I use it to watch my YouTube videos, jot down notes, e-reader and obviously for all my Social Media needs! It fits in most of my purses as well, PLUS! (10/10)
- The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin: This book has been keeping me positive about life! Sometimes I over think about life and the plans I have that I get consumed in the negative that could happened. This book is helping me realize that "Less stress and more laughter" is the cure to a better life! (10/10)

Gear up this winter with Raindrops!

I’m all about Canadian brands and when I came across Raindrops, I immediately took interest. Established in 2001, Raindrops has been providing Torontonians (and Canadians as a whole) with top quality umbrellas and rain-wear. It is also family owned by a mother and daughter duo, I mean how cute and awesome is that?

I’m currently lusting over their Ladies Aigle Blodwen Military Parka, it’s definitely my style and who doesn’t love a fashionable winter coat in Toronto? I’m also eyeing a pair of Sperry Top-Sider Pelican Too Quilt Rain Boots (also available at Raindrops) – with a pair of over the knee wool socks, I’ll stay warm in style!

If you’re still on the hunt for that perfect winter outerwear or you want to give someone the gift of warmth (and fashion) this Holiday season, check out the Raindrops at their new location in Yorkville at 50 Bloor Street West (Concourse level of the Holt Renfrew Centre). All my blog readers can also receive 40% off from December 14 to 21 when you mention #WWRaindrops at check-out!

November Faves

I didn't mean to neglect the blog for the month of November, but working retail and going to a family vacation definitely took up my entire month. This is coming in a few days after December but here's a few favourites from the month of November, enjoy!

- Essence lash & brow gel: For $2.99 this clear brow gel does the trick! I usually buy the maybeline one but this one is giving me more bang for my buck. Keeps my brows tamed when they start to grow out. (10/10)
- Essence fine tip eyeliner marker: I have never tried a fine tip marker type of eyeliner and this one is fool proof! I love that I can do a wing tip effortlessly and it's really easy to use. The lasting power is alright, I've bought better. (8/10)
- Roots Cabin Socks: For 18.50 for a two pack, you can't go wrong with these winter staple. I must own it in a few different styles and colours! I packed 6 pairs during my trip to New Jersey at the end of November. They're a Canadian staple and not to mention, a perfect stocking stuffer. (10/10)
- Warm Vanilla Sugar candle from Bath and Body Works: In early November BBW had a candle sale 5 small candles for $25. I took the opportunity to buy myself some candles and some gifts. I have been obsessing over this candle for the entire months and beyond that I`ve burned through my candle already, thank God it`s a BBW original scent. (10/10)
- Soap & Glory 'Hand Food': This hand cream had great reviews and some of my favourite youtubers own it so I decided to give it a go. It had changed my hands and life! It doesn't leave a thick sticky residue and hydrates your hand for hours! Not to mention, it has a great clean scent. If you're ever at Sephora or Shoppers Drugmart, it's worth the $ (10/10)
- Nabob classic Cappuccino for Tassimo: I've been using my Tassimo since November and it's changed my coffee routine for the better. I've been obsessing over different refills & I particularly love this brand. I sprinkle a half a teaspoon of brown sugar and it's magical! (8/10)
- Evil eye bracelet from Target: A few months ago I grabbed a few sale jewellery pieces from Target during the Phillip Lim collaboration release. I stumbled across a few 'evil eye' pieces and grabbed 2 different pairs. I'm particularly obsessing over a piece that looks like the picture but in black. It's been part of my daily arm candy! (10/10)
