Got me up all night, all I'm singing is love songs...

If you can't tell by the title of this post, I've been addicted to Power Trip by J.Cole & Miguel. It's been on repeat for the last 4 days & I've added it to 2 playlists at work. If you haven't heard it yet (but, I'm sure you have) take a listen.
What I'm Wearing: Leopard print trousers (H&M) / Neon Green Top (Aritzia) / Phone Case (Kate Spade) / Necklace (Gifted)
Accessories: Watch (Marc by Marc Jacobs) / Black Rosary Bracelet (From the Philippines) / Jade Bracelet (Gift from my Mom) / Necklace (Gifted)
This work week has been going by so fast, for me at least - I mean, it's already WEDNESDAY and it's going to be a long weekend. Thank God for Canadian Civic Holidays.
Anyways, I just wanted to share my extra relaxed work outfit today. Also, I've gotten a lot of compliments on those leopard pants at work. Here's a little secret .... I only got them for $10, thank God for H&M's random sales.
By the way, I know my blog banner is "bleh" but my very good friends Dice is about to whip something creative up & I'll have that up in no time.
Until next time!

Yum! Foodie Friday

The title of this post says it all ``Foodie Friday!`` I felt like I ate everything I`ve wanted all week in a span of 8 hours. For lunch, a few of my co-workers & I grabbed some lunch at the Food Trucks at the Sony Centre. We all ordered some delicious greasy food from Hogtown Smoke & I must say, it was d-e-licious!
These pictures were taken by my friend/coworker Dorcas (silly me forgot my phone that day)
L to R: Line up for the Hogtown Smoke food truck / Pulled pork poutine *YUM*
After work I headed to Queens Park Station to meet a few of my good friends for dinner. We chose a spot called La Carnita. They served Mexican food & I indulged every little bit of it. I ordered the following: Tortilla chips with guacamole, Mexican Meatballs, In Cod We Trust Taco, Chorizo Taco & Churro's for dessert.

The place reminded me of local restaurants in L.A. and the setting was really chill, I definitely recommend it - you can taste the freshness of the ingredients! Over all the restaurant was a really great place to hang-out, have great food, talk, laugh & catch-up with your friends!
If you're in the Toronto area, check these places out!

Comfy Coffee Weekend

It's a beautiful Sunday night in Toronto - the sun is shining and there has been a cool breeze all day! I spent my weekend off with friends and family & with the comfortable weather, who wasn't in a good mood?
My mother & I had a really good Saturday morning date filled with girly activities; breakfast, mani/pedi & getting our eyebrows done. It was great to spend time with my mom, we usually don't have time to really sit & chat with our busy schedules. My afternoon was spent with my friends and we went to do a bit of shopping/walking at Vaughan Mills. Sunday is usually family day, so we headed to morning mass and had an A.Y.C.E sushi lunch at a local spot called Nagoya - it was satisfying as per usual!
Sunday Outfit: Speedy 30 (Louis Vuitton), Necklace (H&M), Wilfred Capucine T-shirt in Orchid Bloom (Aritzia), Sunflower Print Pants (HUE)
Saturday Beverage: Iced Hazelnut Macchiato (Starbucks) - I only took a picture because it's rare that the barista ever spells my name right!
If you're an avid 'KARsaidWHAT' reader, you'll notice some slight changes around the place. Yes! I have updated and it's mainly because I'll be using this outlet more often. I shut down the site for a few days to apply these updates so please leave a comment & tell me what you think. Have a great start to your week!
Talk soon,
